Historie

  • Tržby nejméně 10 milionů EUR a až 100 milionů EUR
  • EBITDA nejméně 2 miliony EUR a až 15 milionů EUR

V minulosti jsme koupili společnosti jak pod těmito hraničními hodnotami, tak i nad nimi, a budeme v tom pokračovat, pokud to bude strategicky vhodně zapadat do našich plánů.

Environmentální, Sociální a Governance (ESG) kritéria

Oriens má jakožto přední investor v regionu střední a východní Evropy odpovědnost investovat do společností, které pozitivně přispívají k faktorům globální udržitelnosti. Aby to bylo možné, faktory udržitelnosti jsou dobře integrovány do všech fází našich investičních procesů. Oriens zvažuje kritéria ESG a příležitosti udržitelnosti v počáteční fázi investičního procesu a tyto faktory začleňujeme také do procesů hloubkových prověrek.

About Oriens

Oriens is a leading investment firm with activities in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary, supported by some of the most prestigious international institutional investors. Our private equity funds have delivered industry beating returns by taking full control in established companies valued at around EUR 15-30 million and making them grow.

The Oriens Summer Internship

Oriens is launching a summer internship program for Bachelor’s and Master’s students in finance, business, and economics. This short and comprehensive program offers a hands-on introduction to the role of a private equity analyst.

Over two months during the summer break, interns get to know both sides of a hands-on private equity fund: work in the HQ on fund related matters and at the portfolio companies on ownership tasks. They research new investment opportunities, work directly with portfolio companies’ management on strategic projects, build a strong understanding of the fundamentals of private markets, and engage in direct discussions with Oriens’ managing partner.

Program structure:
  • First week: onboarding at our Budapest office (accommodation provided for expats),
  • Weeks 2-8:
    • 2 days/week at either the Prague or the Budapest office, working on research tasks, taking part in knowledge building initiatives,
    • 3 days/week at one portfolio company, where the intern will be assigned to work on an ongoing strategic project.
  • Mentoring: each intern’s work will be directly managed by a senior colleague for personal advancement, alongside a biweekly meeting with the managing partner.
  • Top performers: may get an offer to the Oriens Private Equity Rotation Program (PER). The PER is an exceptional rotation program that takes analysts and later associates through every stage of the private equity job, while giving them insight into multiple industries, countries, and the full investment life cycle.
The ideal candidate:
  • Is enrolled at a leading university to a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in business, economics or finance,
  • possesses strong analytical and quantitative skills,
  • has excellent verbal and written communication skills in either:
    • English and Czech or Slovak; or
    • English and Hungarian and German,
  • is open, curious and committed to continuous learning,
  • has an integral and down-to-earth personality,
  • demonstrates drive for excellence, along with perseverance, and
  • has a desire for a long-term career in private equity and understands the basic differences between public and private markets.
The application process and timeline

Oriens is one of the leading investment firms in Central Eastern Europe with activities in Budapest and Prague. Our private equity funds invest in established companies and enable them to grow very fast.

Oriens is a unique place to work in many respects. First and foremost, it offers an exceptional learning opportunity for people interested in private equity in the region. Being selective to the extremes, we invest in a few companies only and spend a great deal of our time ensuring they become professional, efficient corporations. These companies have so far delivered a spotless record of world class returns. Second, we offer a special blend of local decision-making and Western professionalism. In most companies, one needs to decide whether he/she wants to work in a multinational environment or be close to actual strategic investment decisions. We make no compromises in either.

We are currently looking for an Accounting & Reporting Manager in Oriens’ holding finance team in Budapest.
